Welcome to AdShield, a service operated by Bar Tech Labs Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AdShield website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AdShield, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. Description of Service

AdShield is a landing page monitoring platform designed to help advertisers ensure their ad destinations are functioning correctly. Our Service includes:

  • HTTP status monitoring for landing pages
  • Content verification and text presence checks
  • SSL certificate expiration monitoring
  • Form submission testing
  • Integration with advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads)
  • Alert notifications via email

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Monitor websites or pages you do not own or have permission to monitor
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent
  • Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable request volumes

5. Third-Party Integrations

Our Service integrates with third-party advertising platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and TikTok Ads. By connecting these platforms to AdShield:

  • You authorize us to access your advertising data in read-only mode
  • You acknowledge that your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service
  • We do not modify, create, or delete any campaigns or ads on your behalf
  • You can disconnect integrations at any time through your account settings

6. Payment Terms

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan
  • Payments are processed securely through Airwallex
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

7. Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days from the beginning of service
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Partial refunds may be offered for unused portions of prepaid services at our discretion

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bar Tech Labs Limited and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT MONITORING WILL DETECT ALL ISSUES WITH YOUR LANDING PAGES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAR TECH LABS LIMITED AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bar Tech Labs Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.
